Surfing!
I finally did what I had been waiting to do for years...Surf! It wasn't out in the ocean like I would prefer, but rather in a wave pool. I did make a few mistakes, first of which was doing P90x the day before, the second working my arms and shoulders. Both of which detrimental to my strength and endurance for paddling. I would like to say; however, that I was able to still ride my first wave despite my mistakes! It felt so good. Once the waves start rolling in to the Philippines I am definitely there!

Cagayan de Oro
It was my first trip away from the main island where Manila is located. Mindanao is the second largest island in the Philippines, but unfortunately for most Americans, it is not traveler friendly due to the terrorist attacks that have occurred on the island. Thankfully, we were going to the opposite end of the island where the extremists were not located, and we had a nice little resort owned by some friends family members.
Our cottage had an awesome view, this was a picture I took right off my front porch when I woke up in the morning. I couldn't believe it. It was the best location in the entire resort.
Our first day was full of fun and adventure, the largest dual cable zip line in Asia! Whatever that means anyways. I was a personal fan of the Waiver sign.
This was my dorky twin and our friend Nino getting suited up for the zip line.
The crew waiting for the shorter zip lines.
After the zip lines, we decided to ride some ATVs, unfortunately I do not have any good videos of my chain falling off. That's right...my chain fell off twice. I am pretty sure I have ridden children ATVs that were more powerful.
For lunch we went to my long awaited restaurant, pineapple-fed beef. That's right, no grain, no grass, pineapple fed! It was actually pretty good, even though they had run out of my person favorite cut.
The next day we went white water rafting, but I was unable to get any photos since I don't have a waterproof camera. Later the next day, on the flight home the excitement didn't end. That was because we didn't take just any airline, we took Cebu Pacific Air, Asia's premiere airline with games! As you can see below I won a beautiful Centrum A-Z handbag!

Am I really in a developing country?
Every Sunday I come out of my condo, to a rather interesting surprise of exotic cars that before I would only see in a magazine or a car show. Exotics from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi (the one from Iron Man), and even matching GT3 Porsches. Take a look.
